Are you open rain or shine?
Yes! FEAR FIELD is open rain or shine. We are an outdoor haunted trail, so please dress appropriately for the weather and trail conditions. In the event of severe or unsafe weather, operations may be delayed or suspended for everyone’s safety.
What time do you open?
The FEAR FIELD ticket booth opens at 6:00 PM and closes at 11:00 PM. The show starts shortly after dark. Wait times can get longer as the night goes on—that’s part of the haunted attraction experience!
Should I buy tickets online or at the box office?
We highly recommend buying online! Online tickets are $15 and box-office tickets are $20. Buying online also helps you get in quicker and avoid the ticket-purchase line. Looking for a night with smaller crowds? Friday nights are usually your best bet.

Is Fear Field scary?
Of course—we’re a haunted trail! But our goal is to make you scream, laugh, and have a great time. Our trained actors know how to deliver a good scare while keeping the experience fun for families, friends, and groups.
Is there an age limit?
There is no set minimum age. However, FEAR FIELD includes darkness, loud noises, sudden scares, characters, and frightening scenes. Parents know their children best and should use their judgment. Please do not drop children off and leave the property. Children and younger teens should remain under appropriate adult supervision.
Can the actors tone it down for my children?
Yes! Bring your own glow necklace or Ask about a glow necklace for sale when you arrive. A glow necklace lets our actors know that the guest may need a gentler experience. Please remember that you are still entering a haunted attraction, so there may still be unexpected sights and sounds.
Will the actors touch me?
Actors may get very close as part of the show, but they will not intentionally grab or harm you. Friendly contact may occur when posing for a picture, shaking hands, offering assistance, or helping direct you during an emergency. Guests must never intentionally touch, grab, push, hit, or strike our actors.
What if I get too scared to finish?
Don’t worry—we’ve got you. If you need assistance while on the trail, raise both arms above your head. One of our crew members will assist you and guide you toward a safe emergency exit.
How long does it take to go through?
Experience times vary depending on crowds, trail conditions, and how quickly your group moves. If a faster group catches up with you, please step aside safely and allow them to pass. This helps prevent groups from bunching together into a “conga line” and gives everyone a better experience.
Is parking available?
Yes! Parking is FREE. When you arrive, please follow the directions of our Parking Attendants / Signs.
What should I do with my cell phone?
Secure it before entering! Keep your phone in a zippered purse, fanny pack, secured pocket, or other safe location. Phones are lost on the trail every season. The show cannot be stopped to search for a lost phone. If you lose something, notify our staff at the box office and we’ll make every reasonable effort to look for it after the night’s show has ended.
Can guests wear costumes?
Guest costumes are permitted on Halloween only. Costumes must not restrict your movement, walking, hearing, or vision and must be safe for an outdoor trail. For everyone’s safety, staff may ask you to remove or adjust anything that creates a hazard.
Is alcohol permitted?
No. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Guests who appear intoxicated or whose behavior creates a safety concern may be refused entry or asked to leave.
Are tickets refundable?
No. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. When appropriate, FEAR FIELD may issue a rain check that can be used during the current season.
What should I wear?
FEAR FIELD is an outdoor haunted trail. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. Expect uneven ground and the possibility of mud, especially after rain.
Can I smoke or vape?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the haunted attraction. Please follow posted rules and staff directions regarding designated areas.
Can I bring a backpack or large bag?
No backpacks and unnecessary bags permited pass the securty check point. Please secured in your vehicle. Smaller personal items should be securely closed so nothing falls out while you’re on the trail.
Are weapons permitted?
No. Weapons of any kind are prohibited at FEAR FIELD.
Can I take pictures or videos?
We love seeing guests capture their FEAR FIELD memories! Photos and videos are welcome in designated areas and photo opportunities. Photography, flash, or recording may be restricted while traveling through portions of the haunted trail.
What should I expect on a busy Saturday night?
Expect a crowd—that’s part of October at FEAR FIELD! Saturday nights are typically our busiest, and wait times may become longer. Come with your friends, enjoy the atmosphere, meet some of our characters, and make the wait part of your FEAR FIELD experience. For typically smaller crowds and shorter waits, try a Friday night.
